Dr Simon Hassan

Dr Simon Hassan MBBS DFSRH MRCGP

Male

Dr Hassan graduated in 2005 from Barts and the London Medical School. He completed his GP training at Kings College Hospital and joined Edith Cavell Surgery in 2012. Dr Hassan has held positions as a Trainee Doctor, Salaried GP and is now also a GP Trainer for Edith Cavell Surgery. He is also the Integrated Care Lead for South West Lambeth and an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Surrey with an interest in healthcare informatics.

Dr Hassan is regularly in the practice Monday-Thursday.

Dr Syed Zaidi

Dr Zaidi qualified in 2009 from Guys, Kings and St Thomas’ Medical School. He completed his GP training in South London. He is particularly interested in Men’s Health and Urology. He enjoys reading and keeping fit.

He is in the practice on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Dr Kayali qualified as a GP in 2005. Previously, she was a hospital doctor working in the paediatric department. She has a special interest in Children & Women’s Health. She recently qualified as a Trainer so is involved in teaching medical students & doctors. She loves travelling & cooking.

Dr Kayali is regularly in the practice every Friday.

Dr Faisal Patel

Dr Patel qualified from St George’s University of London in 2005. He is a fully qualified general practitioner and has a diploma in obstetrics and gynaecology.

He is hard working, friendly and well mannered and works well with all other staff at the surgery to make things better for all our patients.

He is at the practice every two Saturdays.

I am a Practice nurse with many years of nursing experience.

I have worked in a variety of specialities within the hospital setting including Oncolgy, HIV, Vascular and Orthopaedics. This gave me a broad spectrum of knowledge in different areas, as well as many other skills. When I left the hospital setting I was a senior sister of a busy acute ward.

I have been a Practice Nurse for three and a half years and I love the variety of roles I have. I am an experienced smear taker, travel expert, as well as being well qualified in chronic disease management, dressings and a variety of other skills.

I am in the practice on Mondays and Tuesdays.

I qualified from Kings College University’s Florence Nightingale School of Nursing in 2004. I have a great interest in tissue viability. I am a very caring, enthusiastic, friendly and supportive person. I enjoy reading.

I am in the practice Monday through to Friday and alternate Saturday mornings.
